Diffusion of Brownian particles and Liouville field theory

چکیده
In this work we review a recently proposed transformation which is useful in order to simplify non-polynomial potentials given in the form of an exponential. As an application, it is shown that the Liouville field theory may be mapped into a field theory with a polynomial interaction between two scalar fields and a massive vector field. The used methodology is illustrated with the help of the simple case of a particle performing a random walk in a delta function potential.

Liouville Brownian motion
We construct a stochastic process, called the Liouville Brownian motion which we conjecture to be the scaling limit of random walks on large planar maps which are embedded in the euclidean plane or in the sphere in a conformal manner. Our construction works for all universality classes of planar maps satisfying γ < γc = 2. In particular, this includes the interesting case of γ = √ 8/3 which cor...
متن کاملOn the heat kernel and the Dirichlet form of the Liouville Brownian motion
In [14], a Feller process called Liouville Brownian motion on R2 has been introduced. It can be seen as a Brownian motion evolving in a random geometry given formally by the exponential of a (massive) Gaussian Free Field e X and is the right diffusion process to consider regarding 2d-Liouville quantum gravity. In this note, we discuss the construction of the associated Dirichlet form, following...

متن کاملLong time asymptotics of a Brownian particle coupled with a random environment with non-diffusive feedback force
We study the long time behavior of a Brownian particle moving in an anomalously diffusing field, the evolution of which depends on the particle position. We prove that the process describing the asymptotic behavior of the Brownian particle has bounded (in time) variance when the particle interacts with a subdiffusive field; when the interaction is with a superdiffusive field the variance of the...
متن کاملDiffusion limit for many particles in a periodic stochastic acceleration field
The one-dimensional motion of any number N of particles in the field of many independent waves (with strong spatial correlation) is formulated as a second-order system of stochastic differential equations, driven by two Wiener processes. In the limit of vanishing particle mass m → 0, or equivalently of large noise intensity, we show that the momenta of all N particles converge weakly to N indep...
